Week 2 – Job 17-39

Again, I am posting this ahead of schedule hoping to receive suggestions on what might be most helpful to encourage readers to keep reading as well as suggestions on how to bring out discussions about these passages. I may revise and repost them at the appointed times.

Note: The Read the Bible in Chronological Order blog series has been moved to another of my blogs: Bible Bites 4 You. Expect to find the weekly posts on that blog instead of here.

Week 1 – Genesis 1-11 & Job 1-16

I’m posting this first week early so that people who are considering joining us on our journey through the Bible in 2019 will be able to peek at what they can expect to find on a weekly basis as the new week’s passages are posted. I am also looking for suggestions in the comments below on the kinds of things that would be the most helpful and encouraging to readers. What will keep people reading, and what will best inspire comments from readers?

This will begin on January 1, 2019. We will read the Bible, not straight through, but in the order that the events happened. I tweaked a PDF file for this plan and posted it here: Chronological Bible Reading Plan – weekly overview Continue reading “Read the Bible in a Year in Chronological Order”
